NOTHING 2A
Nothing Phone (2a) Review: Style Meets Substance
The Nothing Phone (2a) continues the brand's mission to disrupt the smartphone space with bold design and thoughtful features at a budget-friendly price. Unlike most mid-range phones, the Phone (2a) dares to be different — and largely succeeds.
The highlight is its transparent back with Glyph Interface, offering customizable LED lights that serve as notification indicators, charging progress bars, and more. It’s not just a gimmick — it adds a unique visual identity.
Under the hood, the custom MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro chipset, co-developed with Nothing, delivers smooth performance for day-to-day tasks, multitasking, and even light gaming. Paired with 8GB/12GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage, the experience remains snappy and responsive.
The 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display (120Hz) is sharp, fluid, and color-accurate — excellent for content consumption. The stereo speakers also pack a punch, enhancing media use.
Camera performance is decent for the price: a 50MP main + 50MP ultra-wide dual setup produces good daylight photos and respectable low-light shots, though it doesn’t compete with flagship image processing. The 32MP front camera delivers sharp selfies and clean video calls.
